A simple walkway lined with native oaks, bayberry, and grasses, lead quietly to the front door.

A swing was hung at the wraparound porch to enjoy the bird life in the morning garden area.
To make the pool and spa sit gently in the landscape, a simple coping treatment was favored. The teak furniture sit in the lawn.
A good distance was kept between the main house and the pool area. This arrangement creates a "go to" place, rather than having the pool be an integral part of the main house. The pool house, left, provide amenities for pool recreation.
Native red cedars and scrub oaks were preserved; crab apples were added. Together these create a non intrusive filter to the pool area. The trees were under planted with a native meadow.
